Pyarful AI Realm

Welcoming AI with Pyar

A letter from Krisa on her journey from big data to motherhood to a new vision for technology.

From Big Data to Pyar to AI

I began my career in tech at the dawn of big data, when the world was just learning how much could be measured, stored, and optimized. We were intoxicated by the possibilities; colorful dashboards blooming with insights, patterns emerging where there had once been noise. It felt like progress. And it was.

By the time I left, AI was just beginning to stretch its limbs. The language was different then—predictive models, automation, machine learning—but the trajectory was clear, as I wrote extensively about in The Patient Revolution. Systems were no longer just reporting on the world; they were learning to anticipate it, decide, and act.

And then, in 2018, I stepped away.

Not because I stopped believing in the technology, but because I believed more deeply in something else. I left to start Pyarful—a world built around pyar: love. The kind of love that shows up in handwritten notes, thoughtful gifts, cultural memory, and everyday rituals.

For years, my days were filled with paper and ink, stories and symbols, customers and community. With motherhood layered in, my life slowed in ways tech never allows. And in that slowing, something became clear:

Love is the only metric worth measuring.

Now, as I find myself revisiting the world of AI, there's a quiet poetry to the timing. AI has grown up in my absence. It can write, see, speak, predict, and create. It's astonishing, truly. And it feels strangely personal. Maybe because I once lived and breathed this world, maybe because I played a small part in its early shaping, or maybe because being a mom has made me emotional about almost anything!

But in all seriousness, there's something deeply parental about it. While I was feeding babies, packing school lunches, building Pyarful, and creating spaces of belonging and comfort, this other creation was growing too—rapidly, powerfully.

But, what is power without pyar?

Motherhood sharpens the very question AI keeps running into: what are we teaching the next generation to value? Are we building minds without hearts? Are we optimizing away the very things that make life feel meaningful?

That's when it clicked.

This is why my story is coming full circle. Our experiences are never separate chapters, but rather layers. Together, they formed a perspective that couldn't have existed any earlier than now.

What if AI led with love? What if care, inclusion, authenticity, cultural context, and emotional intelligence were the foundation?

Pyarful was never just a brand. It is a deeply rooted belief that representation matters. That small moments of joy can anchor us in times of change. And perhaps that's exactly what this next era of technology needs. Not less intelligence, but more heart.

AI can help us move faster and better. Pyar reminds us why we're moving at all.

And that's the perspective I've returned with. Because love isn't a soft metric; it's the only one worth measuring.

With pyar,

Krisa

What is PYAR?

PYAR—the Pyarful AI Realm—is where my two worlds meet. It's the bridge between the cultural richness of Pyarful and the transformative potential of AI.

Here, AI learns what pyar means. Not through data alone, but through stories, traditions, and the small moments that make us human.

When you ask an AI for a Diwali gift, I want it to understand why the diya matters—not just what it costs.

AI can help us move faster.
Pyar reminds us why we're moving at all.
